basswarrior66
I have just bought a small PA speaker to use for home practice with my Ampeg Micro VR amp. I notice there are 2 speakon inserts on the back of the speaker, i am not sure if one is an input and the other an output for linking another speaker or if they are both inputs? My amp has 2 8ohm outs, there seems to be no difference in the speaker volume if i use one or both connections. The manual is not very informative and as i have previously only used a combo i am not familiar with using speaker connections. I realise that this is a PA speaker and not a specific bass cabinet but not sure if there is a difference between the two regarding how they connect to an amp. Bill Fitzmaurice
They're parallel jacks, either can be used as input or output.
