bnt
Chris Squire is about to release a "Progmas" album, Swiss Choir. (Geddit?) You can hear his new version of Silent Night, and his older Christmas tune, Run With The Fox, on his music page. Silent Night is not bass-heavy, but pretty-interesting, and his voice is in great shape I think. BOD2
I always love to hear the bass in Springsteen's "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town". You might need a large band to pull that version off, though.

gypsymoth
hmm, never saw this thread til now. my version of King of Angels has, well, magnificent (but simple) bass. tune six on the link below, for a limited time only.
Bilbo
There is a great Christmas album by Wynton Marsalis called 'Crescent City Christmas Card' with great jazz arrangements of classic Christmas tunes. Great versions of 'Let It Snow, Let It Snow , Let It Snow' (with a great Jon Hendricks vocal) and everything from 'Silent Night' to 'Little Drummer Boy' and 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' - have a listen to clips on Amazon - its the best (only?) Christmas CD I have ever liked.
