tombboy
Repopsted for Paul from the EBMM forum. know this is a real long shot but it's worth a try... In 2000/1 my lovely Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray was stolen from me from the Stratford-Upon-Avon area of England. If anybody has any info, or indeed if anybody has bought it since then please contact me. description: Ernie BallMusicMan Stingray '93/'94 Bought second-hand from Bass center in Birmingham in 1995/6 Translucent Red / Rosewood Neck Neck had un-finished sanded feel Had a few dings at the time Black Scratchplate De-fret by Woodworm Music in Birmingham (lined fretless) Hipshot D-Tuner Old-Style Bridge with foam mutes Serial Number ????? Thank you for your help, Paul Note to Mods: Maybe we could have a separate thread for such items? Or have we already got one??
Machines
I think a thread would be largely ignored as it wouldn't be clear when new items were posted. Will keep an eye out in the local Crack Converter.
tombboy
Wouldn't hold out much hope... It was only after I posted that I realised the bass was stolen in 2000/01. Poor bloke couldn't even be sure on the year it was nicked, bless him, let alone keeping tabs on the serial number. Lesson to be learned here if anything.... keep a database!! Jean-Luc Pickguard
In 2000/1 my lovely Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray was stolen from me... ...Serial Number ?????
Stolen seven years ago - Even if it does turn up after all this time, having no record of the serial isn't going to make claiming it any easier. If I saw one matching the description for sale I would want to check if the serial matched (or looked dodgy) before reporting it as possibly stolen
tombboy
Totally agree. I thinks it's safe to say that this bass has gone!!
charic
If a stolen item of yours turn up in a cash converter and you can prove its yours can you claim it without having to pay for it anyway?
