Stingray PickGuard/Scratch plate

I have recently bought a Vintage sunburst Stingray and want to get a clear scratch plate to replace the black one. I have seen some at WD music on line but feel that £32 is a tad steap for a piece of plastic. I could get some plastic and try a DIY job but wife suggested I try and buy one first. I'm sure I saw some on Ebay (USA) for around £20 recently but can't find them now. Does anyone else know where I could get one from. Any help would be much apreciated.

I've bought a couple of pickguards from here. Pretty quick delivery from the US, and good quality products.

Don't forget to factor in the customs charges if you buy from the US - I got stung £15 for two Jeannie's Pickguards for my Lakland, which makes the WD one look like a bargain in comparison. By the way, I tried to buy a clear one for my Sterling from WD a few months back and was told they don't keep them in stock - he told me they order them in specially from the US.

Just found some 3mm A4 size perspex for £1.25, so even if I cock up and have to get another it will be worth it.

If you dont mind me asking where did you get perspex---Im trying to get some for a Wymore Black Rose Tele bass which has a weird shape--not quite Precision. Thought I might have a go myself--Id aso recommend Dazbootman on ebay for standard sizes at good prices.
