markyboy2106
Hi there Other than Stringbusters, where should I be looking for some good bass string deals. I've been looking to get hold of some LaBella flats but I'm struggling to find them anywhere. Your help would be much appreciated. Cat Burrito
I've noticed www.soundslive.co.uk and GAK are doing great deals on Flatwounds, often cheaper than the string specialists. That said I am happy with Fender strings & haven't ventured into the realms of the really expensive brands.
AndyTravis
My MIJ 62 Precision and Mexi Classic 60's Jazz are both wearing Overwater Flatwounds. £20, black silk winds and smooth as you like. I like them. But havent really tried anything much else.

BassBod
Thomman are also good for flats - as long as you're buying something else to spread the shipping costs. Their prices on Thomastiks and Pyramid are usually very good (relatively!)
