orangepeelneil
Hello, This looks nice, a quick fix for someone. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/YAMAHA-BB1100s-BASS-...=item230773ce44 I'd buy it if I was closer. Cheers Neil
neepheid
Hmph, I was watching that. Guy had it listed starting at 99p but with hours to go pulled it and put it back up at £160 BIN. Annoying, it was sitting at < £100 when he pulled it, I was hoping he wasn't paying attention
AndyTravis
Im wondering if the circuit is goosed, or repairable? If not, surely it could be rewired as a passive bass? I'm talking myself into this...AAAARGH! Bargain - my 80's BB300 is a wicked bass.

There is an active/passive switch, but the active circuitry is totally transparent.
stevie
I've just looked at the ad and notice he's snapped the circuit board. That's not quite such an easy fix but the bass would work passively. At that price, however, I'd expect a fully working instrument.
AndyTravis
I've put it on the watch list... 6 days to go; not sure i NEED it, but this is more or less the same as Tony Kanal used on No Doubts 'Tragic Kingdom' and his bass sound (and playing) is phenomenal throughout... The BB300 was my first working bass, and continues to be part of my recording bass stuff.
