That Teal one is filth though, and would be my 2nd choice. The P/J 75 reissue thing is a great idea, and i wish Fender GBI would sort a few of these into the country. Candy Apple Red - i'd get a shell guard on it. Nice gear. Trav

p58
those japan instrument are very nice. it´s a bit pity that shipping and taxes make the final price quite big, but i think that this japan fenders play perfect and they look way cooler than US production. Almost exactly what I'm after. However, at current exchange rates it weighs in at just shy of £800, and that's before shipping & taxes! Ouch. I love my CIJ 75 RI Jazz, but for that kind of money you're not far off being able to get something very similar custom built ... which, hopefully, is what I'll be asking the nice Mr Shuker to do for me in a couple of months time...] Edit - 'cause I can't do maths... You might have to trail through price lists for a definitive list.

I too have a non-export Fender that was bought used from Ishibashi (by the previous owner). Ishibashi have also recently (last few months) stopped selling used instruments via their website and only sell a smaller selection through their ebay shop.
