Price seems ok, so why no bids yet me wonders?

Is it down to the fact he's adamant the pickguard is 'original'? Fender didnt ship them like that. I think he bought it from a Thin Lizzy fan?

It looks nice enough.

£899.99 Isn't bad, although how much would an early/mid 70's pickguard cost to replace the silver one?

Yeah, had guessed that the pg wasn´t a factory thing-only the Steve Harris sig eaves with a mirror.
I qute like the mirror thing actually.

Did you get it? I was considering it but the details offered were just a bit thin on the ground and I wonder how much else had been changed that he was unaware of.

Still £979 (IIRC) could be a very sweet bargain. 70's s'plates seem to be around £100 or a bit less so not much to get it back to original if that was all it needs.

A 70's Black & maple Precision would be the ultimate cure for my GAS!!!
It continues to elude me.
