Old Horse Murphy
For sale is a John East J- Retro 01 pre-amp designed to slot directly in to a standard Jazz bass without any modification. It's in fantastic condition and has all-chrome hardware. These are great units and offer 3 band graphic eq as well as a passive bypass. Here's a link to John's website with a bit more detail about the unit and some pictures: http://www.east-uk.com/ They're currently selling for £195 new and I have priced this one for £120 inc postage. I'm also selling a set of DR Fatbeams stainless steel roundwounds too (gauge 45-105) that have literally been put on to my P Bass and taken straight off again (I much prefer flats!!) These are hte Marcus Miller series with a round core construction for a fatter tone, deeper sound and smoother feel than Hi-Beams. These retail at £28.60 plus P&P, so yours for £18 inc. Thanks for looking Edited June 29, 2010 by Old Horse Murphy
