However I maybe forced to, due to GAS.. guh!!

Information to follow next week.. Just a possible heads up.

I'll stick some pics in later. Black on black, 'US' pups, ungigged, never left the house.

As I bought it..

New pickguard

Yes, isn't it the PB70US-88 model or something with the maple neck?

I've got one just like that. The neck is jazz width.

Anyway, back on topic. Lovely lovely bass, I cant believe you could bear to part with it. Must be serious GAS. do tell.
What are you on about? They do offer that, infact i used to own one myself.. though they only is offered as Ash Natural.
Yes, I know about that one - but for some reason they don't offer a maple neck on their alder ones. I've always considered black/black/maple to be a classic 70's Precision look.

Very, very nice.

Personally I prefer the black scratchplate.

If it was a 62 Reissue then I would have been very interested, as I was thinking of picking up something with a James Jamerson vibe to it.

However this is a sweet looking bass too.
I was in the bass cellar (Denmark St.) the other day and they have a white/black 70s CIJ for £799 :)

That's more than i paid new for my USA model
Yep, they sure know how to price competitively eh? You can save £360 on that by buying direct from Ishibashi...!

Hey everyone.

Thank you for your patience. I am sorry to say to those who have put in an offer on my bass.. I am withdrawing it from sale. It looks like I will be able to keep it after all, due to a delay in GAS circumstances lol

Apologies and thanks for the interest. I guess it has reminded me how sought after the Non-Export CIJ basses are!

All the best,

dood.
