Blue Darryl's new new Pick Guard

It's from Jeannie's and it's blue/grey pearl which, well, er, I don't know really...

Maybe on a black or white bass?

What do you reckon?

And updated to...

You just have to look past those pink strings! The colour maybe a not to everyone's taste (including mine) but I love these DR Long Life. For me a better feel than Elixirs.
it's fine on that bass... but you really need to get blue or black strings...
I ordered Purple Passion  which are very dark but they got lost in the post :) and the replacement set that was sent was Hot Pink  as they were the only colour left in stock
I already like it more on second viewing. And that binding gives me quivers :)
Pervert!

Seriously though, it's definitely a contrast thing as you say. I was initially going to go for red or brown tort as the man himself has on his blue one but then I thought, hey, why not be different? And now what I have learned? That the classic combinations are classics for a reason  . Oh well, it's being gigged tomorrow night ( at a Conservative Club - oh give me strength!) so I'm sure the band will give their unrestrained opinions.

I have a red tort, at least that what I think it is that was on mine when I bought it, which i don't want if you want to try it.

You stick to the chromed ones. Nice looking and practical for shaving too! :)
