Blue Darryl's new new Pick Guard

It's from Jeannie's and it's blue/grey pearl which, well, er, I don't know really...

Maybe on a black or white bass?

What do you reckon?

You just have to look past those pink strings! The colour maybe a not to everyone's taste (including mine) but I love these DR Long Life. For me a better feel than Elixirs.

I ordered Purple Passion which are very dark but they got lost in the post and the replacement set that was sent was Hot Pink as they were the only colour left in stock

It washes out the blue a bit because the contrast isn't so prominent. It still looks nice though, Sean.

It might be a grower if you're not fond of it so much yourself.

Seriously though, it's definitely a contrast thing as you say. I was initially going to go for red or brown tort as the man himself has on his blue one but then I thought, hey, why not be different? And now what I have learned? That the classic combinations are classics for a reason . Oh well, it's being gigged tomorrow night ( at a Conservative Club - oh give me strength!) so I'm sure the band will give their unrestrained opinions.

Love the blue/grey pearl and hot pink strings, but think the red tort is fugly. But tbh I dont like tort at all anyway, I'd still love that bass though!!
