sussexbassman
Just bought this combo so have had little chance yet to really try it out, but thought I'd post a couple things about it. When I first tried it out the range of tone was immediately impressive, but as I wound up the volume I started to get a vibration/rattling noise from the top of the cab. I found that sliding a few sheets of paper between the top of the amp chassis and the cab top stopped the vibration. So I emailed Ashdown support and within 15 miniutes had a reply saying that it sounds like the rubber buffer strips have not been fitted (these units are made in China now), so Guy sent me a couple of reels of the stuff and I fitted it - job done! This tells me two things - 1. the assembly is a bit hit and miss 2. the service and support by Ashdown,UK is supurb Whilst fitting the strips I had a look inside the box and the quality of components looks excellent. I'll report back when I've given the combo a few road tests ......
