geoffbyrne
My pal Paul has this 2x15 Celestion/Marshall cab. He bought it in the 80's but believes it was a 70's build. It has the input near the bottom back & has a plate saying "Made in England - A13498" with 2 recessed carrying handles. He's sent the info to Marshall who say they "can't recognise the cab" - !!??!! Its dimensions are H=39" W= 29" D= 12" and it stands on wheels. Anyone recognise it or have any info on its value etc? backwater
Doyle's "The History of Marshall" only lists one Tall Marshall 2x15 : Model 1981, 200W, Bass Cabinet, 2x15. It's listed as produced in 1978 only and was replaced in 1979 by a 4x12 sized version Value wise it's difficult to say as the Marshall bass stuff is not really sought after. geoffbyrne
Thanks Andy - that's appreciated. Anyone else got anything to contribute? Anyone used one or bought & sold one? G.
voxpop
I had one a few years back and got £50 for it... The sound was very big, uncontrolled and very 'old school'. Perfect for 70's rock. There also was a 2x12 'artiste' series guitar cab the looked very similar I think ?
