oh bugger. Been getting the urge to look at Jaguar basses as they look a bit different and retro but been avoiding them. Now this turns up. BUGGER. If they don't do white then I'm safe :)

It's a cheap wood they use on the Affinity series, not too bad actually.

Quite strangely, agathis is the more expensive wood. The Affinity is made from alder, but the more expensive Standard Series, VMJ fretless and VMJ Precision are made from agathis.

I guess you get different grades and qualities of them all, because if my Jazz is made from the same alder as an Affinity, I seriously want to know why!!! :)
