Actually, the only time I thought I broke a speaker that wasn't via playing a bass into hifi gear, was actually vibrating loose a connector.[/quote] What can I say, I know what farting sounds like and when I hear it I turn down or cut the lows Quote

Sarah5string Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 (edited) I've got a Hartke Hydrive 1x15. I get so much bottom end I actually can't play it after about 8 at night as I'll upset the neighbours and my children who would be trying to sleep as it booms right through the house (and across the street!) even at low volume! I love my cab. Got it from Pete Academy's shop. Can't recommend hartke enough!! Edited June 20, 2010 by Sarah5string Quote
Al Heeley Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 I'm a very happy user of 410XL and since Sunday a 115XL to go with it. I've had a lot of very good comments from punters listening to our set, on how great the bass sounds, punchy and authoritive. I'm using a Peavey Tour 450 head and either Squier Jazz Bass or (mostly) EBMM Stingray playing punky indy rock stuff. I love the Hartke cabs. Quote
