Looking for a double bass player?

Hi all!

I've just recently bought myself a double bass - I played a lot at school (school orchestra and Lanarkshire Youth Orchestra) but then couldn't afford to buy an instrument until now! I like to play orchestral, country, blue-grass and Scottish country dance, but would consider anything. I can read music, but have been known to play using guitar chords (although I do prefer to have the dots!!!).

I'm looking for any orchestras, groups or bands to rehearse and have a laugh with and would be grateful if anyone can put me in touch! I can travel throughout Fife, Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth and Stirling.
