Bottle
So, I've had my trusty Ibanez GSR-180 in a nice black n' burst for a couple of years now - it's a cracking bass for the money. Recently, I've benched it in favour of my Squier Precision Special, but I'm looking to resurrect my interest in the Ibby - thinking about popping the back cover off and having a look-see inside. For those who aren't familiar it's an entry-level Jazz bass-a-like - twin pickups, V/V/T and all-passive. My thoughts so far are to maybe stick an on-board pre inside - looks like plenty of room for a battery, or as an alternative mod it to include a series/parallel switch much in the same vein as the Fender S1 switch on the Jazz - any opinions? I'll try and grab some piccies of the inside of the control cavity tonight. Ta muchly, Ian Edited June 7, 2010 by Bottle
