had to use hofner strings for the scale, so they are hofner original flatwounds, very nice too

why thank you i was a bit dubious about my playing as it is certainly a bit of getting used to with the short scale and fretlessness but glad you enjoy

just had a listen to the soundclips. theres a fair bit of distortion on the tracks, whats the source of that?

distortion aside though, the bass is sounding fantastic it really is. and your playings not too shaby either

i think its just due to i being a quick recording, its a line in from my amp and the level was probably a bit hot to be honest, im also sticking it through quite a long and old mic lead at the moment which doesnt hep with unwanted noise, cheers for the positives though
