Clarky
Looks great in Oly white, albeit completely un-authentic. Even allowing for shipping and import duty this is still not a bad price. Ou7shined
Nice look. I wish I'd had the balls to do that to mine when I had it rather than keep it mint - although an antique white would have been more my choice.

Marky L
Oh blimey!! That is lovely! I bet the bids will run soon, pity the dollar rate is utterly dreadful right now or it would be an even better deal. I presume the colour is as per manufacture being a CIJ bass, it's not a re-fin is it?

It is nice though. At the current price, it wouldn't be much more than £400 all-inclusive, which looks reasonable to me ... but as you say there could be a bunch of last minute bids

Ou7shined
It's almost certainly a refin.... and not a very good one at that - see the little chip at the rear of the control plate that's been painted over. That Sting ^ looks a snip. I traded mine (proper non Sting '51) on with a net trade value of £475 which I considered bloody lucky to get, however it was immaculate, shielded out, re-vamped 'lectrics and set up to my high standards so top dollar was right. Ou7shined
Uh? Well that's not gonna work when you can get a brand new proper '51 P job for just £60 more.
