cab advice needed

i've got a genz benz cab at the moment which sounds
great with my shuttle, the thing is i'm a bit skint so i'm
selling the whole rig but the only interest i've had is for the head
my question is. can you use a bass cab with a guitar head, as i could
sell the head and get two cheaper guitar and bass heads to use with
the cab i'm not sure if that would work ok or not, any advice is greatly
appreiciated. thanks in advance

You can use a guitar head into a bass cab, it might be a bit bass shy, and it will sound wrong for guitar playing though.

In general stay away from cheap and simple solutions where tone is concerned.

Dedicated bass amp for bass..and vice versa.
If you already have something that you find worked accidently, then ok...but not otherwsie, IMV

I think you'll cry if you do that and hear the difference... technically possible, but I'll be like using a tractor in formula one racing. You get round the track... eventually..the next day
