Mark Bass CMD 121H Trade Possibility...

I want to do a direct swap with my CMD 121H with a [b]CMD 121P[/b] OR a [b]15" MB combo[/b] OR a [b]LMKII Head and 15/12" cab[/b] OR *maybe* a [b]Gallien Krueger combo[/b]. My amp is about a year old, works perfectly fine and sounds gorgeous (hey, it's mark bass), but the 121P would fit in my boot (i only have a citroen ax, the 121H is just an inch too big) and I don't think the tweeter horn driver suits my stingray 5er so well as if it didn't have one.

Here's hoping...!!!

Hmmm.. You want to try Hughes & Kettner? I can guarantee you that it will fit in a trunk, and its just as light as a Mark bass Not as many watts though, but its pretty loud.

If this does turn out to be too much of a long shot, how much would you sell it for? Or maybe you'd like to buy my car? It has a fair sized boot!

Lol, no I wanna stick with Mark Bass to be honest, it's too good to compromise =]

Oh, and I'll only be swapping it cos it's my only amp and I can't risk not having one for any period of time. Needs to be as powerful, too.

That it's on the bay though suggests they don't wanna swap. I'll watch this regardless. If people wanna make offers for my amp in the meantime I may consider bidding on this... Argh, makes it tricky though!

Try asking him anyway, it's not going to hurt - you never know, maybe he's selling to fund 121H. Point him to this thread and tell him he would get more for a 121H anyway. It's got to be worth a shot, especially before the bids start piling in.

that went for more than I expected - £500 almost, plus postage. Electro have them for £665, and bass merchant are £605 plus postage. I bid, bid it was too much for me when it got to £440.

In fact, I am probably going to pull the trigger from bass merchant on one.
