Advice on delay with modulation, small footprint, £50 to £80...?

So far main contender seems to be the Memory Toy, because it's cheap. Or the Carbon Copy (is it worth the extra £££)?

Or I might decide to go for one with looping capabilities in which case I'd go for a used DD7... Any thoughts on analog vs digital in delays?

Main use should be for intros a la Tool so maybe no tap tempo required?

Not sure about the others but I've had a Carbon Copy - loved it, nice warm tone. I only sold it to get an M9 but I prefer the CC and may buy another one sometime.

I did exactly the same as this. Really nice little delay.

If it had tap tempo, it'd be perfect for me.

YeH I too love the CC. I don't use much delay so it's perfect for me. I have never used a memory toy so can't comment.
