I REALLY like both my basses but if I was going to sell either, then the next bass would be better... so I would be ok selling.
It may well be that I'd add a third... but that isn't because I couldn't bare to sell one..just that I don't need to...

My Z Warmoth, ordered a few months after I started university for the first time in memory of my dad.
Although she now has gone by the name annabelle for a year or two.
Whilst it was a complete gamble whether i'd like playing it or not she is incredibly comfortable to play sitting and standing.
Whether this gets given on to any offspring or stripped down and burnt with me who knows.
Very much considering selling my other two basses and just focusing on using this one.

I bought this from Mark at Bass Direct on Monday. I had to sell a couple of kidney or two to pay for it but it was worth it. I is far and away the best bass I have ever played.

Sorry for pinching Mark's pictures of it but my phone takes terrible pictures and they didn't do it justice.

For me it's definitely my Tom Marceau bass. I can have all the 3 "main" bass sounds (pbass, jbass, MM) while retaining its character. I've rarely played a bass that could fit so much voicing while retaining its own identity. (And it's also dead confortable and the Low B is surprisingly good for a 31" bass!)

That looks great! I'm not normally a fan of single cuts but it just looks so balanced and I bet it feels great.

So i'll be the first one to post some Yammy love here then? Ok, here it is, needs no introductions:

My bassface says it all:

Had it's place at my wedding:

It's my main bass, the one that i hook up flat to any amp and pumps out my tone immediatly.

Hope that the pics are shown properly.

My bass (and amp and cab). It's a Mex Fender Active Deluxe Special (I think) but I've converted it to passive and swapped the gold anodised guard for a red tort (courtesy jhamler of this forum).

Well the Ibanez GWB35 I posted a while back has moved on. However, since then I've had a Maruszczyc made to my specs, so I guess this is 'my bass'.

Why thank you, kind sir (takes a long, low bow) :)

It is a bit of a favourite. The weird thing is that it took about 1/20th of the time of my Jack Bruce Fretless tribute (see elsewhere in Gear Porn & Build Diaries), but to my eyes, looks just as impressive. Much of it, however, is to do with the magnificent piece of veneer - which I have NEVER been able to find anything close since. I can't even find out what it is. This is its natural (varnished) colour so it is close to Amboyna - but Amboyna has a very distinctive smell which this one didn't.
If anyone out there knows what it is (or has something similar) pleeeease let me know :D

In the meantime, thanks again, Big Stu :)

It's a really beautiful bit of work. The contrast between the veneer, the pickguard and the chrome looks lovely.

Here's my favourite squeeze.

Thanks Gary :)

Yeah, last summer when Fender were doing their annual Roadshow, every email address who ordered tickets were entered into a draw to win the Fender Am Std guitar of their choice. I was the lucky winner! Forgot all about it and thought the email was spam. Almost deleted it! Spent two hours wondering about it and then googled the name on the email, turns out it was legit. I was over ze moon!

That is gorgeous, very nice addition.

Thanks. I decided to go back to a Gibson SG Std. when I saw the 2018 SG Std.'s were out. I sold my Fenders, and did the SG Std. Walnut. I like the grain in the Mahogany too. It's strung with D'Addario ETB92M Nylons.
