what scale is the lemon song in?

I love jpj's bass line on the3 lemon song but rather than follow tab I'd love to try to just improvise the solo does anone know what scale it's in? Then I can practise the scale first and then try to jam along. Any advice much appreciated

That would be E major sir

hang out around the 12th fret for the verses and drop back for the chorus

His solo is basically based around the blues scale in E,A and B. So rather than 'blanket' the whole solo with
one scale he is outlining the chord changes (E7#9, A7,B7) with the appropriate blues scale.

The Blues Scale is made up of I,bIII,IV,bV,V,bVII. Basically it's a minor pentatonic with an added flat 5th.
