OldGit
Just bought a pair of wooden Speaker Cab Wedges in IKEA. Sorry no name on the wrapper but they are in pairs and about £3. Work fine in pairs to raise the front of your cab by about 1.5 inches... Not exactly a Markbass Wedge but cheap Edited June 16, 2010 by OldGit

Colledge
my 6th form common room is full of these small tables, i think they cost either £8 or £4, perfect 19" rack size. would work well for a studio setup. i think this is them, http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/40104270 [/threadjack] Edited June 15, 2010 by Colledge

Mr. Foxen
They do a wheeled shelf thing that is rack sized too. It's the only thing in this pic I still own:
BassJase
..And at the bit where they give away free nails and screws and stuff they also have loads of allen keys, which fit perfectly into truss rods.
cocco
I f***ing hate ikea, I never thought of any of this though. Genius!
OldGit
Since this has broadened out to IKEA hacks for bands ... I use their FRAKTA luggage straps to tie my stack together on stage, to tie my simple lighting boxes to the top of the PA top boxes, to hold the top on my cable box, tie down teh drummer etc etc etc. Loads of uses. £5 a pair.. And I use their cheap black car blanket to cover gear on the back seat. The reflection of the glass makes it really hard to see any gear in the car.
