White Jazz with Black Pickguard

i'm looking to buy an antique white jazz bass that is currently loaded with a white pickguard. I think i would prefer a black pickguard to add some contrast, but cant seem to find any photos of this combination. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Any other pickguard colours i should be considering? (Apart from tortie - dont like that at all!)

Ha, that's mine and it now looks like this. I didn't like the black pickguard, the tortoiseshell looks a million times better.

In that case I highly recommend you go ahead with shopping for genuine vintage Fenders and put that Japanese reissue back on the market ASAP.

Not only did you buy it before I had a chance you also put a tort scratchplate on it, you have made the list.
