peteariss
Hi. I have recently changed the barrel jack sockets on a couple of Yamaha basses as they were loose. The "loose" problem has now dissappeared however, the battery is now only lasting for a few hours. I imagine that it is not dissconnecting when the lead is removed??? What have I donee wrong? How can I fix it? TIA Pete.
Ou7shined
Daft question first, you've used stereo jack sockets yes? Can you get any clear pic of your wiring?

Ou7shined
It's really hard to pin point what might be wrong from the other end of the internet not knowing your pup and switch configuration but you just need to check you've used the correct connections (it is most common to use the earth and ring as your switch) and you have no electrical shorts.
