Where to buy strings?

There must be some special place you all go to buy strings where you wink at someone or touch their special place or whatever and you get the strings a bit cheaper. £170 for a set of evah pirazzis? I wasn't born yesterday!

Buy the strings separately from the Stringmail site rather than as a set - and save yourself 10p!

Don't be daft. Wait for them on Ebay like everybody else! Just procured a new set of Velvets for £70 on there... DON'T buy Belcantos though. They have an alarming (not to mention dangerous) knack of unravelling, and their pizz is crap.

I've got an almost new set of Flat-chromes if you're interested? I'll be honest in that they are old school bruisers, but they are one of the dearer strings out there.
