DaveMuadDib
Was nosing around my old youtube uploads, and found this, so I thought I'd share with you guys - me, covering the bass solo from Jethro Tull's Bouree, their brilliant Jazz interpretation of the Bach lute masterpiece. This clip is a couple of years old, but this solo is one of the main reasons I ever picked up a bass in the first place. I'm playing my headless Hohner B2ADB, which is their licensed Steinberger copy. Lovely lovely bass. It's running dry through my trusty old Laney combo. The noise in a background is a midi of the high hat followed by the little flute accompaniment at the end - because I'm cool like that Would love to know what you guys think! Tullfan
Hi there, been posted for a year now and no reply's, well thats not fair. So I have watched both your youtube posts and am impressed with what you have worked out. I've seen Tull many times and often hear different versions from the different bass players in the band, over the years. Just to mention that i have a B2B hohner, and love it too.
