FOR SALE only is my absolutely stunning 5 string Overwater Perception Standard Deluxe Plus.

How stunning is it ?? Check it out here......http://www.overwaterbasses.com/per00006.htm

Here you will find pictures of the actual bass, and some spec details. The bass is in very, very good condition.

The ONLY reason I am selling this beauty is to satisfy some very long standing Smith GAS, and if that particular baby goes before I sell this, then I'm going to withdraw it, I'll be more than happy to keep it.

To purchase the Smith I need £1000, not a penny less, and sorry no trades unless of course you have a Smith up your sleeve.

I need to get this Smith obsession out of my system, I've never played one and am taking a huge risk as I know how good the Ovewater is.

The bass comes with a new Deluxe Thomann gig bag.

Thanks for looking, and if you do want it, don't hang about because if the Smith goes, then so does this.

yours aye,
Stewart

At the risk of giving you second thoughts, that is probebly the nicest overwater I've seen for sale on here. Good luck with the sale!

Why thanks G, at the risk of sounding cliched ( should that have another e in it ?? it just looks sooooo wrong ). it looks even better in the flesh.

And you know what a sucker ( hopefully not a filly sucker ) I am for a Smith. !!!

Oh I meant to say well done England...........really, I was genuinely moved to see the players reaction ( pride / releif ?? ) at the final whistle.
So dear England fans, please just spoil it by assuming you're now going to win the World Cup.....again.

Back on topic, move sharpish folks......................

Its a 35, first one I've owned and very comfy. Deffo helps the B.

Will weigh it later and get that up, but it's lighter than the 5er StingRay it replaced and sits very well on the strap, as one might say.

Q'st que c'est PHIT ???

What Smith are you eyeing up Stew?

I'm lucky to have the best of both worlds, each are great in their own right. I'd never tried a modern smith, only tried a friends BT6 at his house. Lots of research, and listening to Mel Davis... I absolutely love it! They're definitely as good as people say, and the price tag! Quality is beyond words! I wouldn't say I favour either, Overwaters are phenomenal basses! However, going for a Smith, you reallly cannot go wrong!!!! You'll love it! I've always, always wanted a Smith, and absolutely love it!!!!!!!

Mines currently doing the season in the Blackpool Tower Circus! :)

Good luck, you'll love it!!!!!

All pm's now replied to.

Thanks for all the interest, I am going on holiday on Tuesday, and tbh if it doesn't go before then ( or at least a solid sale offered ) I'll probably withdraw as the Smith will probably go whilst I'm sunning myself en Francais.

Cheers again for all the interest - who'd have thought my humble bass would be so popular !!

Good grief... that didn't last long :)

Just to confirm (as I used to own it) that this is a very nice bass (although much too refined for the likes of me) and that Mr Stewart is a properly decent bloke and you should deal without concern.

Good luck with the sale !!
