cycrowave
im eagerly awaiting the delivery of my lb30, and im going to need to invest in a cab to go with it as my main rig is at the practice room. anyone have a good recommendation? of course i'v looked at the accompanying products from ashdown, but i'v heard mixed reviews about their cabs. ideally i'd like something that doesent sacrifice low end , and handles the tubey growl. so many options cheers lewis

phatbass787
Ive been running mone through my 410 but am thinking about getting the Ashdown 112 for it for a mini rig so would be interested to hear if anyones tried one... The cheap ashdown cabs are what they are but the UK cabs have always been awesome in my opinion...
cycrowave
thanks ill check it out. forgive my ignorance, what does spl stand for?
sk8
I've used mine with a Bergantino AE210 and NV412 both sound good but i think the 12's are better. Ordered a Purple Chili PCB112 to go with it for a lightweight rig but the NV412 rules!!!!

cycrowave
agree. hanging out to see how much they are, the lb 212 is going for around £380 so im hoping its a fair bit cheaper.
sk8
I emailed Mark at Ashdown and he said they would be £299. I'd guess thats RRP. Thats what made me opt for the Chili as for £75 i can have a 300 watt capable cab to use with my LM3 Edited June 25, 2010 by sk8

KiOgon
Perfik LB 112 + ABM Mini 48 custom. I got the 112 with the amp straight from the factory & they're great together, the 12" is well suited to the LB 'valveyness'. I tried a Ashdown 210 with, but that's not my sound. I just wanted a bit extra & the 4x8 is a superb little cab. Edited June 25, 2010 by KiOgon
