Rehearsal Studios London

Its difficult to get regular Mon-Thu evening slots in London rehearsal studios we've tried.

Consequently, used a lot of different places.

Some are great, e.g. Terminal, Joint & Fortress.

Some are ok; Alaska & Premises.

Some are good but out the way; Creek

Others are crap; Enterprise


Any recommendations ? Looking for clean large rooms w/quality gear.

+1 for Survival. Good rates too. been using them for years. It's not that far out, North Acton is really quick on the Central Line and Survival is just off the A40. The gear is decent but not amazing. But it's perfectly fine for rehearsal. A lot of signed bands rehearse there apparently.

I've been to many but not all, and pretty much agree with what's been said so far (but wouldn't give Survival such a hearty welcome, I'm afraid). Also, I like Rogue in Bermondsey - not easy to get to but among the cheaper options, and rather unusually and refreshingly has an online booking system.

my current band rehearses in a old factory space just at the end of mare st. at the moment, so i've not been to survival or gun factory for a couple of months.

we use Zed One in Camden (225 Camden Road). Decent enough, not very cheap any more (£48 for 3 hours, after big price rise) but usually can get room at short notice

Christ, that's expensive! Survival is half that, less without the drum kit.

There's also Panic in Acton. I can recommend Survival too; nice chaps running the place, lots of rooms and not too expensive.

My band the Meenies rehearse at Panic,i can definately reccomend it,just round the corner from Survival.

Ritz studios in Putney is good. Quite pricey though.
