Bass effects

Hey dudes and dudettes,

After joining a band playing bass after playing guitar for 14 years I've realised that the bass is just a million times better. Loving my 4 string bass stick!

Anyways I'm looking to shape my sound in some crazy ways and I was wondering if anyone has put a bass through an MXR Blue Box pedal? That thing makes some low sounds anyway. Would putting a bass through it open up chasms in the earth?

Yeah a few people have used them on bass before. Just give it a go, see what you get, you won't damage anything.
