merello Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 As said last night - rocked my rocks last night watching Willie Nelson's EMG loaded Epiphone playing bass player surrounded by mouth organs, dead Martins and a steinway. Also spotted Corinne Bailey Rae's guy with an Ibanez blazer (noted before on here.) Finally - was Simenon playing his legendary P-bass? Good start. Bring on the Muse ensemble tonight....and Scissors Sisters.....and on Sunday, the daddy of them all: http://www.bassplayer.com/article/nathan-w...May-2010/113947 Quote
harvey1-8 Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 After reading the Mark Saunders interview in BGM last month (or maybe the month before), I wanted to catch part of Florence and the Machines set. Noticed he was playing a Sadowsky and not a Lakland, which he had been photographed for the magazine with. I'm not too in to her voice but quite enjoyed what I saw. Quote
thisnameistaken Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 What's that bass that Nate Watts is holding? It looks like a 52" inch neck or something. Or it might just be the ugly giant headstock that makes it look so overgrown. Quote

AlecHewes Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 I noticed Robert 'Bubby' Lewis playing for Snoop. I thought the sound quality for his performance and most Pyramid Stage performances was pretty bad, but he was playing some wicked lines. Kenny Higgins was pumping out some summer love for Corrine Bailey Rae as well! Quote

cocco Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 The alleva just looks like a TE T-bass to me. Body wise anyways Quote

The headless one looks more like a guitar it's that small. No offence chaps but that is far too 80s for my liking! Edited June 26, 2010 by Musicman20 Quote
Kev Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 (edited) 3rd bass in 3 songs, okay this song is in drop D but really necessary? Edit, now 4 in 4 Edited June 26, 2010 by Kev Quote
