Help me choose another scratchplate

I have this on it's way to me from Lowdown - not sure about black on gold??

What do ya all think would be nice?

Sod the scratchplate, the gold's a no no IMHO

Seriously, I can't think of a scratchplate that'd go with that colour. Not my cuppa at all.

No offence meant, just my gut reaction.

Don't have a neck yet. Not ruling out a respray. I thought maybe a white pearloid too.

Maybe black or white suit it most. I'm still tempted to take it back to wood to see what the grain looks like - in fact that idea is growing on me - maybe with a maple neck..... Ummmm...............

i put a lovely gold annodised one on my p bass, looks lovely.... many not go with the gold as well as it does with the SB though!
