fergy1971
So... there I was playing bass for a hobby and in bands for 20 years. I was happy with the bargain basement gear I had. I had no problem with my Hohner and my Peavey gear. I only came on this site to see if I could get some advice about live monitoring! Now...my hohner's gone and a Warwick Corvette $$ is in its place. My Peavey gear is severely under threat. Do NOT under ANY circumstances look at the Gear Porn thread, your bank balance would only suffer. I've started encouraging the wife to spend just so I have an excuse to trawl through the For Sale section on here! Listen to me - HEED MY WARNING - turn back now before it's too late!! ...right, let's have another look at that Mark Bass gear (BURP!!).....!? Edited July 3, 2010 by fergy1971

Gareth Hughes
Yup - I just sold two basses, bought one a day later - and enquired about another on the day that the mew one arrived. Maybe we need to set up www.selfrestraintchat.co.uk?

Adrenochrome
What is it with all the swapping instruments all the time. And why do people pay the best part of a grand for a bass with a fancy label that doesn't even play properly. I think I inhabit a different planet sometimes
