paulie
As the header says I have a beautiful Rickenbacker 4 sting bass for sale. Its a 1992 model but its in superb condition. It was a model that was available at that time in a ltd quantity. It has a really brilliant (fire engine/blood red) finish with black scratchplate and hardware. The red sets off the black hardware really well. It comes with original case, original pickup cover (not fitted in photos) and the original black bridge (i fitted a hipshot retrofit brdige for added sustain and no bridge lift! ) The bass has never been damaged or modified in any way. The hipshot bridge is a direct replacement for the original so no holes were added to fit it so it can be swapped on or off. The best part of this bass is the neck. Its almost completely flat yet there is no fret buzz anywhere. I have owned 3 ricks in the past and the neck on this is exceptional, one of the others was ok but the 2nd one I owned kept moving and needed constant attention. The truss rods on this one have never been adjusted! Anyway feel free to ask any questions but I wont be leaving this up for sale for long as I am having second thoughts already about selling. Price £1300 which is a fair price as models in this condition are scarce and its a rare version. Thanks for looking.
