2 Items FS

I recently bought this practically mint Ampeg Pre here on the forum and it is exactly as advertised.

I bought the cab from Bass Direct a few months ago - it's one of the generally sought after Series 1 versions and is in good condition - it came with a cover of sorts but I have some pride so I think I burned it!

I used to own a Chevin like this. Make no mistake, this is a proper power amp for a cheap and nasty price. I used mine to drive an Eden XLT410 and I NEVER wanted for more power or headroom, no matter how noisy things got. I cannot believe this is being offered at this price and is still here. The Chevin and Epi for that little outlay is just bonkers. The Epi is LOL funny when you lift it (been there also) and the Chevin is exceptionally light. Chevin is genuine, bombproof, last forever pro gear.

Need it you know you do.

Thanks Owen, I think it's a great setup too, I guess I would say that.........

...........but it really is!! Welcome to come try too.

What's the front to back depth of the Chevin? I'm looking for a cheap power amp, but it's got to fit in a shallow rack.

Depth sounds good - it'll definitely fit. Would I be right in thinking that it only runs down to 8 Ohms? The (very limited) information I can find seems to suggest this. If it can't handle a 4 Ohm load then I'm afraid it's no good to me.

I'm getting to be as barking as you, Steve. :)

How would you feel about posting the Chevin? I drove within 400 yards of your house on Sunday ...
