Bassassin
Now sold on Ebastard. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...tem=12059091186 This has a couple of issues - reamed truss adjuster, dents under E string on the 13th & 16th frets but it's a really nice, playable bass. No point in me waffling on about it - the pictures & Ebay guff tell it like it is! The listing's on for another week but obviously I'll pull it if anyone here fancies it. Jon. bassaussie
These are such cool basses. I remember seeing a few of them in Australia when I was growing up, and I can remember seeing the brand name "Canora" on at least one example. Do you think the neck through design has much impact in the sound?
Hit&Run
I've got a through neck Satellite P bass from the 80s which is extremely similar to this. Mine's got a rosewood board though.
Rumple
I have a very very battered one of these, although mine has through body stringing, built like a tank and sounds very good Good Luck. R.
Bassassin
Look closely at the headstock & you can see this one used to be a Satellite - wasn't me, the logo was already gone when I got it! In the US these turn up with Memphis logos, and there are a few different variations - the fretless is quite common. Really the only reason I'm selling is too many Ps and no real use for them - and it's a bit 'eavy! My back's not what it once was... J.
Hit&Run
... although mine has through body stringing,
...and so does mine. I was looking out for that similarity.
andy67
In my Experience and if I recall correctly...these were catalogue basses and I would assume that since they were fairly cheap, there was inconsistencies. andy
Rumple
I wonder how many Basschatters have one of these, maybe we need a thread in the Porn section R.
