There were a series of 1 pick up models made specifically like this in the early 90s I believe and they are Custom models as far as I know. I seem to recall there were also some made like this in the early 80s as well, but that could just be my Monday morning senility creeping in already!

It's possible that other Wal users like WalMan, Walbassist etc can tell you more as I only use a Pro model...

Hey thats a nice bass,They made a few of those (with the music man type control plate/1 p/up)but they were usually sunburst so is fairly rare. Is the core wood ash?
Selling a 5 Wal string at the moment need to put it up here.

I remember playing one of those in Music Ground in Leeds in about 1990. It had one of the nicest neck profiles ever, with a slight 'v'. Lovely.
