basshead56
Hi guys, Recently spotted a nice combi-type roadcase which housed a Marshall JVM410 in the top section and had a 6Urack below and thought ´that would be great for the rehearsal room and live gigs-VBA on top, SVT 4 PRO underneath along with power conditioner and rack tuner´. I have the dimensions for both amp heads (as stated on the Marshall website) which are as follows: VBA400 670 x 275 x 325 (mm) JVM410 730 x 310 x 215 (mm) Is this LxWxH or LxHxW? Also, do these measurements take the feet on the bottom of the amp into account? Would removing them make the VBA400 fit this case? Thanks for any help in advance , Col Edited July 7, 2010 by basshead56
joegarcia
Just guessing here but I reckon the Vba's are probably the same height and width as a Marshall guitar head but deeper. These kinds of cases are usually quite deep to fit the rack in so you might be ok. I looked into getting a similar case made a while ago as I use a guitar head as well as a rack set up in my rig, neat layout.
