Ebony Fretboard, has all the $$ tones but the ebony board adds a nicer tightness to the tone - removes some of the mud that some associate with the $$. I'm in the process of giving it a good wax and setup with some almost brand new TI flats - which are my favourite strings for it, gives are great vintage vibe. It's not exactly what I am after as I sooner have a Bubinga standard Covette but it is still gorgeous. Does not help its out of my price range. I think I would have to sell my other Corvette to get this one

I'll be travelling from near cambridge to york on thursday - so there is the possibility that if there was any interest in this bass that i could drop it off on my way. I'll also be making my way up to york on thursday(15th July) returning on the 24th or the 25th if there is any interest i can bring the bass with me or do a delivery on it.
