Recently I was introduced to some amazing Gospal artists, Marvin Sapp being one of them. These are fantastic musicians, fantastic singers and there's some brilliant production going on too!

I love that Gospel type stuff, it's my favourite type of music to play along to.

Fav artist: Israel Houghton. also like Ron Kenoly (Abe laboriel plays bass for him).

[4 Strings]

Israel uses fabulous musicians, the bass players are awesome, as are their basses - 6 strings being usual. Seen him live once, the whole thing was such fun, like a breath of fresh air.

Its not a playing type that comes naturally to me, I can copy but not create easily in that field. To be honest, I can only listen for a limited time too, but its wonderful stuff. Good message too.

Sounds like lift music to me. I think this is one of those genres that you probably have to see in person to 'get'.
