MythSte
Hey Onehandclapping, Didnt mean to cause offence, but we've had some issues with overseas sellers before. If the prospective buyers are happy sending the money beforehand then it is essentially completly up to them but as your a new member please understand our concern! Just doing our best to make sure our members dont get caught out. Best of luck with the sale, You really do have cracking taste in basses!! Bassman101
Just skimming, But could the relative not take the cash from the buyer and Western union it over to you somehow?
onehandclapping
I must say I am not very keen on sending a bass over to the UK in the hope of a purchaser turning up to buy it.BTW when I bought these basses I had to pay up front to the seller. I don't have a purchaser so it may never happen,I just get to play them a while longer :-)
stingrayPete1977
It could do with a tin of paint throwing over it!,Just kidding its more of the English sense of humour again and Tino has not piped up with any abuse yet which is odd?If anyone lives near him maybe they should go and see his milk and papers have been taken in! On a serious note +1 for some pics, At the moment I have no GAS at all but if the pics take mine or anyone elses fancy theres way more chance of cash being found. After that its between you and the purchaser to agree on how and where its done via pm and nothing to do with us either way. Come on lets see em'
onehandclapping
There are too many photos for me to upload here. For detailed photos email me direct, otherwise they can be seen where I have them consigned through a relatives site.Free shipping to the UK is not now an option as another guitar has been sold and her luggage quota is full. For added buyer protection/ security. you can purchase direct from the site. Here are the links http://www.greatguitars.com.au/1956.Fender...cision.Bass.htm http://www.greatguitars.com.au/1993.Ricken...1.mapleglow.htm http://www.greatguitars.com.au/Fender.Precision.59.htm http://www.greatguitars.com.au/Fender.Precision.1962.htm

Stacker
I like that V63. Early '90s with the 'John Holmes' headstock and cresting wave. One of the slimmer-necked models, before RIC shifted production and gave it a neck like a baseball bat. I like the '56, too. And a lot of wear up the dusty end?? Hefty price, though. I wonder if MG, V&R, ad nauseam will be firing off emails looking for a 'consignment' option?? :brow: Edited July 12, 2010 by Stacker
onehandclapping
The 56 P has had a Basschat offer but it is a little less than I can accept. BTW The 59 was only used at church on Sundays by a little old lady :-) it comes from a smoke free environment(cough wheez). It is on one of these occassions that the bass was abused(local clergy ??) Stairway to Heaven is not recommended playing on this bass!! roystonarthur
I've been in contact with onehandclapping both by email and phone these past few days and you all obviously need to make your own minds up, but I can thoroughly recommend him as a decent and fine fellow - one who is willing to spend a great deal of his time discussing his basses, sending photos and videos and answering all of my detailed questions in full. All the best mate.
