Do these have any other covering apart from metal? I love my Innovation Rockabillys but cannot bow them. I'm guessing these are Rockabillys with no black wrap?

Hi Owen

Same braided Kevlar core as Roackabillys, but a half round clear nylon overspin they have.

I think they are fantastic strings!

no steel in these Owen, i also have a set of Prestos, pretty similar to Silver Slaps except they do have some steel under the nylon, both very low tension with a gut vibe to them

hi..
where in essex are you..? being a novice(on double bass) im a bit confused about the terms nylon over wrap etc etc. all iknow is i want to change the strings on my bass..and you seem to be the man that knows what he's talking about, and has some sets for sale..so if your not to far away (romford ish) i would'nt mind, coming over and bending your ear..as well as maybe buying your strings, if they are still up for sale..??
