I'm actually tempted to get one just to find out what it's like as a beginner's bass (and if it's anywhere near decent, as a back-up, since I only have one 4-string...) Just made an offer on one and got a counter offer. Tempted as I was after a jazz body and the blocked neck looks cool, don't want to find its made of pine or something. Spend a little on some new tuners, bridge and pups say.... £80, you got something nice for £120 or less if you flog the other parts etc. anyone bought one or played one yet?
