I can't see the point of tiny little bids. My lowball bid is about £50 or so, and even then none of them have ever won. I put £37.89 on the bass pod, but expectation of winning is absolutely zero.

The advantage for the seller is that it's free to list. Plus once you've bid you're automatically watching.

I find it just works for me when selling: I usually get some early bids in & then the usual last minute scramble occurs & it goes for about 95% of what I'd sell it for on here.

Best way to sell on Ebay - do a good enough searchable title & you'll get hundreds of watchers thinking they might, just maybe, blag it for peanuts.

They never do, of course but it doesn't matter all the time half a dozen are serious enough to actually want to buy what you're flogging.
