Dave Vader Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 HI, my rickenfaker came with springs that are too short to hold the bridge pickup down far enough. Sadly the ric springs I did have got cut down to fit my Seymour Duncan Humbucker setup, so I don't have any springs wide enough to fit round a Ric pickup screw, or long enough to hold the pup down. Does anyone know where I can get long, wide springs that will do the job from? Quote
nick Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I got round this problem on a 70's Maya Rickenfaker I once had, by just adding a couple of small but deep plastic washers on the screws. Quote
Al Heeley Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 (edited) I have a big box of assorted springs from ebay. Send me a pm with the width and lengh dimensions and I'll pop a couple in an envelope for you. Edited July 9, 2010 by Al Heeley Quote

Al Heeley Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 these should do the trick - couple of shorter ones on their way too in case you need a bit more tension. Quote
