Any SX (Essex) owners out there?

After the SX hype has cooled off a bit..I'm considering to buy one (yeah I know...always late ).

What do you think of your own? Any mods?

I got one from McCormacks in Scotland via ebay. It's not the popular Jazz copy mind it's a Bass Collection copy which I think looks stunning.

When I first got it I was a bit dubious about it's sound but I've really warmed to it over the last few months. I've not seen a bad post about Sx's to be honest, even on other forums. All you seem to get is the "My SX sounds better than a Fender" sort of discussion which is a subjective issue anyway. Like I said, I love mine now but then again I've only been playing for 4 months.
