Bass Juice Buzzing

Recommended Posts

Hi

I could do with some advice from those more technologically minded than myself.

I use several pedals in my current setup, one of which being the TRex Bass Juice. I love it but when i activate it there is a prominent buzzing. Obviously this isn't a problem when i playing as it's drowned in the sound but it's quite annoying. Has anyone encountered this on their travels and if so what can i do to sort it??

I only use a single power supply with daisy chain to power all the pedals. Might the Bass Juice require a supply of its own??

Anyway, would be great if someone could help out.

Thanks

I've got one of those and I've never noticed any issues with noise although it is my only live pedal. I would try running it off a battery and see if the hum vanishes. If it does then you know you need an isolated power supply. There are loads of good ones out there and the TREX pedal power supplies are superb. On an old set-up I had 10+ pedals and the differance from going from 2 DC cheap bricks (£30 each) to a TREX Fuel tank was huge. It was akin to upgrading all my patch cables again.
